1510 Vine Street Sigma Chi Fight Night

Greek Fight Night

Sigma Chi Fight Night is an amateur boxing event sanctioned by USA Boxing and the Nebraska State Athletic Commission. Every spring, hundreds of UNL students, faculty, and other supporters along with the event beneficiaries come together to watch the exciting event.

Fight Night

Sigma Chi Fight Night is Alpha Epsilon Chapter's spring philanthropy. All proceeds will go to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. The Children's Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of struggling children by raising funds for children's hospitals across North America.

The event consists of usually 8-15 bouts that include male and female competitors. With all the excitement and student involvement that takes place, it makes for a very practical philanthropic event. Everyone at the event has a good time and most importantly, the children of the Children's Miracle Network are supported with the proceeds. Up to $2,500 has been raised annually for our charity and we hope to make for another successful year.

Sigma Chi Fight Night is an amateur boxing fundraiser sponsored by countless chapters all over the country. Fight Night gives chapter members, any UNL student, and any person at least 16 years of age that wants to box the opportunity to step into the ring and square off against an opponent. Women are encouraged to participate. It is our spring philanthropy and raises more money than any other Greek philanthropy at UNL. All proceeds go to the Children’s Miracle Network.

There is currently no event planned for the current school year.
